Changelog

The latest improvements, fixes, and new features in PostingPal.

  1. Improved

Clearer split: staff vs. posted employees

Organizations now have two distinct roles. Staff (admins + coordinators) are your own people on paid seats, with one tabbed page to invite them. Posted employees are users who choose to share one of their personal inventories with you — they don't consume a seat. Org admins can also send a polite "request access" email to a posted employee from the same screen, and each share now has its own toggle for whether the organization can export it.

  2. New

    Organization plans & self-serve billing

Organizations can now subscribe directly from the app: Starter ($99/mo, up to 25 members and 2 coordinators), Team ($299/mo, up to 100 members and 5 coordinators), Department ($699/mo, up to 300 members and 15 coordinators), or Enterprise (contact sales). Yearly billing saves two months. Org admins see a live billing card on the Coordinator dashboard with current plan, usage bars, and a one-tap link to the Stripe billing portal.

  3. New

    Master roster CSV

Coordinators can now download the full member roster of an organization as a CSV — respects the active search and departure-window filters, and includes posting destination, dates, item counts, replacement value, and damaged/missing/unchecked-arrival flags. One click on the Coordinator dashboard.

  4. New

    Coordinator dashboard

The Coordinator page now opens on a live dashboard: org-wide totals (members, items, replacement value, upcoming departures, damaged/missing, unchecked arrivals), an arrival watchlist, a destinations roll-up, status badges on every row, and a one-tap departure-window filter (1 week, 2 weeks, 3–4 weeks, 1–2 months, 2–4 months, 4 months+, past, no date).

  5. New

    Coordinator exports (CSV & PDF)

Coordinators can now download a read-only CSV or formatted PDF of any member's shared inventory — perfect for claims paperwork, HR files, or relocation handoffs. Each export is recorded in the inventory's audit trail.

  6. New

    Coordinator invites by email

Site admins can now send the coordinator invitation directly from the admin console — provide an email when creating the invite and PostingPal emails the link automatically. A re-send button is available for any pending invite.

  7. New

    Coordinator role for organizations

Enterprises (think government HR, insurance carriers, relocation firms) can now have a Coordinator who sees a read-only roster of inventories that members have explicitly opted in to share. Members keep full control: pick one inventory at invite time and revoke access anytime from My Account. Every coordinator view is logged in the inventory's audit trail.

  8. Improved

    Shorter, sharper landing page

Trimmed the home page roughly in half: tighter hero copy, a single consolidated feature list (now including the public sale page), one slim closing CTA, and clearer attribution — built by a Foreign Service officer and spouse.

  9. Improved

    One-tap claim from arrival check

When you finish an arrival checklist with damaged items, the "File insurance claim" button now opens the claim flow pre-filled with just those items — damage descriptions and photos already attached. Review and submit, no double entry.

  10. New

Per-leg arrival checklist with damage capture

Tap a shipment leg in Post-arrival to open a checklist of every item tagged to it. Mark each one as Received OK, Damaged, or Missing. Damaged items prompt for a quick description and photo evidence (camera or upload) that flow straight into an insurance claim.

  11. Improved

    Smarter shipment leg tracking

The posting form now only shows shipment legs you actually use (hand carry, air, sea, diplomatic pouch), with a quick "+ Add shipment leg" picker and suggested arrival dates based on your departure (sea +45 days, air +7, pouch +14, hand carry same day).

  12. New

    Start the arrival checklist anytime

A new "Start arrival checklist now" button on the dashboard lets you unlock the post-arrival inventory check manually — handy if your shipment lands early or your departure date isn't set.

  13. Removed

    Removed unused "Arrival date" field

The single arrival date on the posting form wasn't used anywhere — the per-leg expected arrival dates do all the work. One less field to fill in.

  14. New

    Post-arrival inventory check

After your shipment lands, tick off each item as Received OK, Damaged or Missing — grouped by leg (hand carry, air, sea, diplomatic pouch). Issues flow straight into an insurance claim.

  15. New

    Expected arrival dates by shipment

Set an expected arrival date per leg (air, sea, hand carry, diplomatic pouch). The dashboard shows a friendly countdown for each.

  16. Improved

    Sale visibility tips

The sale page now includes a short sharing playbook — city Facebook groups, WhatsApp chats, mission classifieds, diplomatic community channels — to help your listings move faster before departure.

  17. Improved

    Account menu on the dashboard

Tapping your avatar on the dashboard now opens a quick menu with Account, Sign out and language — instead of jumping straight to the account page.

  18. Improved

    Smarter item detection

Our AI is better at recognizing what's in your photos — more accurate categories, descriptions and make/model on the first try.

  19. Fixed

    More accurate used-item values

Fixed how we estimate the current value of used items so your totals better reflect real resale prices.

  20. Improved

    Tighter footer & easier navigation

The site footer now surfaces What's new, Contact and the essentials in one tidy row — fewer clicks to find what you need.

  21. Fixed

    Security hardening

Closed a couple of backend issues found by our security scan — tighter checks on invitation emails and on internal maintenance jobs.

  22. New

    Changelog page

This page! A simple, bilingual log of what we ship — new features, improvements and fixes — so you always know what changed.

  23. Improved

    FAQ starts with the basics

"What is PostingPal?" is now the first question in the FAQ, with a clear link to the changelog at the bottom.

  24. Improved

    Cleaner sale page

The public sale page got a modern refresh with a live activity dot, clearer stats, and a friendlier toggle to publish or pause it.

  25. New

    Insurance-claim PDF

Plus users can now download a ready-to-submit PDF with photos, descriptions, values and totals — straight to your insurer or BGRS/Sirva.

  26. New

    Annual refresh reminder

Once a year, we'll email you to update values, add new purchases and remove what you've sold. Mark each item as refreshed in one tap.

  27. New

    Two-factor authentication

Add an extra layer of security from Account → Security using an authenticator app like 1Password, Authy or Google Authenticator.

  28. Improved

    Spreadsheet import

Bring in your existing inventory from a CSV. The columns match the export format, so you can export, edit, and re-import in seconds.

  29. New

    Share with your spouse

Invite your partner to view or co-edit the inventory. Great for relocations where both of you are packing different rooms.

  30. New

AI ad copy and price suggestions

For items tagged "for sale", the AI can write a short, honest description and suggest a price tuned to your local market.

  31. New

    Install PostingPal like an app

Add PostingPal to your home screen on iOS or Android and launch it full-screen, just like a native app.
