How does the AI work?

You take a photo. The AI suggests a description, category, and estimated value. You can edit everything before saving.

Can I sign my PDF reports?

Yes. Save a personal signature once (My account → Signature, or the Reports page) and it's stamped on every page of manifests and on the declaration page of insurance-claim PDFs. Optional, stored privately and encrypted at rest.

Can I attach a receipt when adding an item?

Yes. On Add Item or in a multi-item scan, attach a receipt photo and PostingPal reads the merchant, date and prices to prefill the fields — look for the 'From receipt' badge.

What is the post-arrival check?

When your shipment lands, walk through a per-leg checklist (hand carry, air, sea, pouch) marking each item Received OK, Damaged or Missing. Damaged items flow straight into a one-tap insurance claim with photos and notes attached.

Yes — unlimited CSV export, even on the free plan. Useful for BGRS/Sirva, your own records, or your insurer.

Yes. Your photos and data stay private by default. A sale page is only public if you choose to share its link.

How do I share my inventory with my spouse or partner?

On Passport, open Account → Sharing and send an invite by email. They sign in with the same email and pick a role: viewer or collaborator.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from your account. Passport access stays active until the end of your paid period.

Does it work offline?

No. PostingPal needs an internet connection to upload photos, save items, and run AI suggestions.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — the Android app is live on Google Play (search for "PostingPal"). The iOS version is in the works and will follow a bit later. On iPhone in the meantime, open the site in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

Can my spouse and I ship from different cities?

Yes. Add a second origin under Account → Posting details, then assign items to it. New items default to your primary origin, and you can reassign in bulk from the inventory using the truck icon in the selection bar.
