Fill-blanks vs Audit-prices: which AI helper do I need?

Fill-blanks completes missing fields. Audit-prices checks values you already provided.

Updated 2026-06-03

Both helpers live above the import preview table and both cost AI quota per processed row.

Fill blanks with AI

Use when your spreadsheet is incomplete. For each row, the AI fills only the fields you left empty: description, category, estimated value, or shipping tag. It never overwrites a value you provided. Best when you have a quick list of item names without categories or prices.

Audit prices with AI

Use when your spreadsheet is complete but you want a sanity check. The AI compares each provided value against the description and flags anything that looks too high or too low for the type of item. It never changes values — it only adds a flag you can review row by row.

Rule of thumb

  • Migrating from another inventory tool → run Fill blanks first, then Audit prices.
  • Built the spreadsheet yourself with values → just Audit prices.
  • One-off small spreadsheet → skip both and edit manually.
