BGRS/Sirva manifests use Foreign Service Directives (FSD) terminology. PostingPal's friendly labels map cleanly to those codes, and the CSV export includes a dedicated FSD code column you can paste straight into a relocation file.
- Sea freight → HHE (Household Effects)
- Air freight → UAB (Unaccompanied Air Baggage)
- Long-term storage → LTSA (Long-Term Storage of Household Effects)
- Hand-carry → no FSD code; treated as personal effects.
- Diplomatic pouch → mission-specific; check your post's pouch rules.
- Private storage → outside the program; not included in BGRS manifests.
- For sale → not shipped; excluded from manifests.
If your coordinator asks for a manifest split by shipment, use Reports → CSV and filter by the FSD column in your spreadsheet tool.
