The Reports page at a glance
The Reports page has three tabs, organised by who's going to read the file:
- Movers & customs — Shipment manifest PDF and the Full inventory printout (movers sometimes ask for the long version).
- Insurance — Insurance-claim PDF, with an amber dot when your yearly value refresh is due.
- My records — Full inventory printout for your own archive or future you.
Your last-used tab is remembered between visits.
How to generate
Pick a tab, tap a report card, then Generate. Most PDFs build in 10–30 seconds depending on inventory size. When ready, the file downloads and is also saved to Reports → History for 30 days. On mobile, the helper tab closes itself as soon as the download starts.
What's inside each PDF
- Shipment manifest — grouped by shipping tag (HHE, UAB, LTSA…), with per-tag totals and a signature line on every page.
- Insurance-claim PDF — one row per claimed item with thumbnail, description, category, replacement value, date added, and the overall total. Bilingual header so EN/FR insurers can both read it.
- Full inventory printout — long-form: every item on its own row with serial numbers, original and today's values, per-tag totals, and a signature line on every page. The same file is linked from the Movers tab and the Records tab.
Signatures on PDFs
If you've saved a personal signature (see Signature for PDF reports), it's stamped on every page of manifests and on the declaration page of insurance-claim PDFs. A blank "Signature: ___ Date: ___" line is also printed so anyone can wet-sign on paper if needed.
Tips for a clean submission
- Mark damaged or missing items with the shipping tag they had at the time of loss, not their current state.
- Run Audit prices before generating to catch obviously wrong values.
- For high-value items, attach a separate appraisal PDF — the claim pack supplements appraisals, it doesn't replace them.
- On the Insurance tab, watch for the amber dot: it means at least one item hasn't been reviewed in 12 months.
If generation fails
Most failures come from broken or oversize photos. Open the inventory and look for items flagged with a red dot. Replace those photos and retry.
